TD: Thanks for sharing. I had to hit the play button several times but no big deal. Watkins Glen is a neat track but it's been decades since I've been there. It was sometime in the early 70s when they still ran the US F1 race there. I also saw several great CamAm races at that track. There use to be lots of world class races there, but I suppose that's no longer the case.

They made a bunch (6mil) of upgrades for NASCAR and IRL, the track is fast and awsome, the best in the NE.
TD, I was just there in early May, nice and smooth, hand position is good, just need to carry alot more throttle/speed in those turns and esses. I hit 140 every time on that back staight, don't worry your car can handle it!
I'm going 6/1 with metro pca, anybody else?

Sounds like fun! Do you get to use the "foot", or just the NASCAR track? I did Skippy school there, it was great.

I'm downloading the avi file right now. I'm attending my first DE there in July. I saw numbers on your car. How do they attach, magnetic? Where can I get some? Sorry for the OT question.

C4S Surgeon: Absolutely correct. I know I can carry a lot more speed through there. I have two more events there before July 4th, and so I just didn't see the need to push it too much in the cold and the drizzle. I am sure things will be a little different next time.

Charlie:

I am using magnetic circles with vinyl number on top. They work pretty well, and I will post my source as soon as I find my receipt. I honestly have just forgotten where I got them.

Lee,

I am working on a better solution right now. I hope to have it fixed before the night is up.

And yes, we are doing the boot and the bus stop! I wouldn't have it any other way . . .

I got my magneic numbers from Chad Austin, the guy who designed the Rennlist logo, very high quality and great price. I wonder if that is the same Chad who posts here now, if it is thanks again Chad they work great and stay put at 140.

I bet that is a lot easier in your neck of the woods where temperatures are a little higher. I must confess that I have resorted to using tape on all four edges of the ovals because I have now lost numbers twice (both on the hood) in cooler temperatures. The second time it was not returned . . .

I do tape the leading edges to be on the safe side.

Unfortunately no. I am going to "48 hours at Watkins" at the end of June, and then again the following weekend with Potomac
