KDW-2 just arrived - Talk about a big ***!
All I can say is WOW, these tires have the most aggressive tread I have ever seen. They look so dam huge, they put a smile on my face just looking at them. My wife keeps saying, "Are they going to fit" YEA ! 285/30/18. See for yourself. Now if they only hold up like they look, it will be great.

Soooo cool!!!!
They looked so cool on the s4. Please let me know what you think. I seem to remember the tires needing a couple 100 miles to "break in". One of the coolest parts is driving in the rain, these tires are amazing in the wet. ( they are good in the dry as well!)

Yes, they will fit on an 02 C2 - Tirerack had them for 899 for the set of four. I will advise all of my progress with them. They will be mounted today. Apparently road noise is not a problem with them, or so I am told. We shall see.

I used to visit this forum all the time and provide a lot of useful advice to members (both paying and non-paying), but EVERY TIME I come here there's another paying member criticizing non-paying members. The owner of rennlist.com has posted on this subject before and said that he doesn't expect everyone to pay, so why don't people listen to what he says? THAT'S WHY IT'S OPTIONAL. There's a good group of members here, but unfortunately a few bad apples have to spoil the bunch. Once again, I'm off to other forums for a while where I don't have to deal with people like this...
Sorry for the OT on the topic of this thread, btw.
RJMDAD996,
Those tires have a really interesting tread pattern. I'd love to hear how they perform. I'll be over on flat-6.net and 6speedonline.com if you want to post your results on one of those forums.

Can't we all get along? Let's just say that all activity on the board promotes purchase of P-cars and related goods, which improves the economy, which sells more P-cars, which drives more people to the board, which improves the overall number of paying members, as there is a fixed probability of anyone who participates paying. OK? :-)

I guess I am comparing this board with the 993 board. Rarely did I ever come across any non paying member, much less one with 100,200,300+ posts. In my short time here, I have seen many. I guess maybe I am being unreasonable as my standards have been set high by other boards. Flame away, but this is in no way a negative reflection on the 996 board as a whole nor its paying members, only its non paying ones, which seem to be many, on the forum.

OT - Board Comments
What keeps any board ALIVE are relevant, on-topic posts (not withstanding the actual site with, of course its associated costs). The more relevant, on-topic posts - the better the board. I run a "donations only" board for aircraft and those that contribute to it regularly and often (in words) are what keep it informative, alive and keep others coming back - often. Personally, I NEVER have looked to see if those folks are the ones who have contributed $. They ALL contribute to keeping the board alive - period.
All of that said, I haven't contributed $ ---- yet!
BTW -- those are awesome looking treads. I too would be curious about your overall impression after running for a while. I look forward to reading/seeing it HERE. Thanks for the post and the picture.
