I just turned 36 in December, bought my Cab when I was 35, but I would say I fell in love with the "911" at 13 or 14. When I was in Junior High, a friend's dad was a doctor and he was the only guy I knew personally that drove a 911. I still remember it - late 70s model, silver, black interior, lots o' fun, and lots o' trips to the mechanic. He later upgraded to a Red 964 Cab and I fell even more deeply in love with the cars.

I guess at 28 I am under the average age. I bought my first Porsche earlier this year. Two tours in Iraq helped me afford it. Also my wife works. I only drive it a couple times a week and I am also gone from home a lot so it sits more than I would like. My wife took it to work today because her 05 Mini is having electrical problems. Anybody else let or not let there wife drive their car?

I'm 28. My first Porsche was an '86 951 purchased in '96. It was factory pearl white / burgandy. I never should have sold it......

Second Porsche was an '86 944 na Guards Red / Black. Purchased in '98. Still in the garage.

Current daily is a '99 996 C4 cab. Can't wait for summer.

I'm *only* 36 and have a 996 as a daily driver. I think that if I was married I would have had to wait a few more years.
