I'm 27 and this is my second Porsche. First was a 99 Boxster when I was 21. I hope to be a Porsche driver well into my 40s and beyond. *cheers*

Riotgear - I am exactly twice your age and have owned exactly 1/2 the number of P-cars you have owned. So mathematically speaking, maybe I can make both sides of that equation balance. Let's see... 27 times 2 (don't forget to carry the 1...) then divide by... Nope! Anyway I look at it, I still have an extra 27 years and I am still one p-car short! RATS!

Oh, well, I'll just have to take a drive in the 996 to make me feel better!

27 here... I've grew up riding on the back of my fathers 911's. Porsche made part of who I am and who I became. I've always resisted the temptation of buying a boxster.... So I owned M3 E30 (at 19) Z3 M roasters (had 2)and other sports cars but now..... P O R S C H E.

Smile 42 and a daily Porsche driver

Bought my first Porsche at 32, have had one ever since. Drive my 2003 C4S whenever the weather allows, about 10k miles/yr. I am glad I didn't have a car like it when I was in my twenties, I think that all that power coupled with the indescretions of youth would make for a dangerous combination. I think it was Mark Twain who said "youth is wasted on the young". I would paraphrase and suggest that it takes some seasoning to fully appreciate a porsche.

So, true. In my twenties I had a 400 HP 951 Turbo S that ended up sacrificing itself and taking a tree with it. Lessons of youth say never skimp on tires.

Got my first Porsche at last year 48, then my second 10 months later. I drive them on the weekends. I can't see putting 70 daily freeway miles on either of them...

Hi everyone! I'm 45 and somebody forgot to tell me so because I really love sports cars and in particular, my '01 C2 Cab! I'll be posting pictures and details very soon being that this is my first reply to this great forum.

Hi, I am 29. First Porsche. I can't get enough of my 911. But due to my busy lifestyle can only drive it 8 times a month and only for six months per year (Due to snow). Estimate I drive it 50 days per year. Slow into the corners and fast out. Yea!

Got my 993 C2S three years ago at 40, upgraded two years ago to a 996 C2 coupe. Both are weekend cars -- everytime I see the 996 in the garage it brings a BIG smile. Everytime I get behind the wheel, I get a BIGGER smile. There is nothing like it.
