TOO MANY HOT LOOKING WHEELS, TOO MANY CHOICES
It's wheel time for my Seal Grey '03 C4S....predominant requirements are for street....I keep reading about weakness in some wheels causing bends from potholes, the arguments of 2 piece, 3 piece, weight, 18 vs 19, etc., until I'm worn out.
Choices:
Fikse Profil 10
Fikse FM 10
BBS RS GT
BBS LM
Champion RG5
HRE C20
HRE 540R
Which one, and why (please). By the way, I drive this car a lot....5k since mid Feb!!!

I am getting ready to post some pictures I took this morning of my new wheels: BBS RS GTs with diamond black finished. It is honestly shocking how much it changed the look of my car. It even makes the color look darker. With the 18" lightweight carrera wheels, my car looked elegant. With the BBS RS GTs, the car looks meaner, and it now seems like it is begging for the rest of the aerokit (I already have the sideskirt).
I picked the BBS RS GTs after much research because I was told that it had one of the best strength to weight ratios, which was extremely important to me. The fact that they also looked good was a pleasant side benefit.
I also got the thicker leather covered steering wheel, which is delicious . . .

Unless you're buying some BBS wheels (Supercup) make your car a favour and leave it as it is... Where I live we tend to modify the cars on the inside but eeping the outside as close as possible as they were when came out of showroom (exception for lowering) this way you'll have a wolf in sheep skin not the other way around... WAY more classy to look like you couldn't care less for you Porsche! But you do (as I do) when you're in your garage tweaking your ride... Just my point of view though

I went for the BBS RS-GT w/Diamond Black finish and polished lip. Why? BBS has a good reputation for making good wheels. They are light and strong, plus fairly inexpensive. One thing cool about these wheel is that they look different in differnt lighting. Sometimes they look light and others dark. I think the Diamond Black Finish goes really well with Seal Gray
TC, Can't wait to see your pictures!

Buy what you like and can afford. All of the wheels you choose are quality product and are not heavy enough to through your cars balance off(in fact the stock turbo look 1 is about the same weight as the heaviest wheel here). Look too many people on this forum sing from the church of light weight/ track use, but you have to ask yourself what are you using your car for and what is your ultimate goal. FWIW if your goal is looks then get 19", but be warned about a rougher ride. There is no handling advantage to larger wheels. If you goal is for tracking then get the lightest and strongest wheel. I would use BBS for tracking since their reputation on the track is well know.

Highest quality are the Fikses. Man, do they back motorsports.
Best reputation is by far BBS, though you're limited in sizing and fitment.
19" is definitely for bling, but damn do they look good. And really, how many of you race for a $s?
