Those who have used or are stilling using the orange cap mod, what are you feeling toward this mod? Positives or Negatives? I know it is purely for sound and not hp gains. I have a stock setup, would it be beneficial to try? Thanks!

I liked it when I had the orange cap, I'd still use it if i could. Best of all...IT'S A FREE MOD!

My only engine mods are denso iridium sparkplugs (IK 20s) and the cap. The sound is definitely an enhancement, especially at WOT. If you don't expect more power from this and want your motor to snarl, then it is a no brainer as a warranty safe mod.

The orange cap coupled with my GHL loud's sounds great! It's amazing how wonderful intake sound is! Mod is easy, takes 5 min. and the caps were free! Someone should have the link, I forgot where it is.

Tell me, tell me guys! There must be a side effect!! The cap is preventing air from flowing to a hose, what that hose doing there in the first place? It seems too good to be true!

Nothing really changes other than the sound. Car drives the same.

If I remember correctly, all it does is block airflow to some sort of chamber or baffle that's designed to make the car quieter - but I may be wrong on that. There were plenty of discussions about this some time ago, just search for "orange cap" and it should come up.
