Default Is there a difference between the standard C2 and the 40th Anniversary rear bumper

A pole jumped right into my blind spot as I was maneuvering into a parking space. The guy at the Porsche Dealer's body shop claims the 40th rear bumper costs more than the C2 rear bumper.

Is there a difference or is the guy trying to hose me? I feel like I'm being played.

Painted bumperettes? That should be a $500 difference (LOL).

How much does Eric at Bumperplugs charge to paint the bumperettes? Get a regular bumper and have Eric paint the bumperettes.

His website says $245 and up. Give Eric a PM or email to get an exact quote.
(He did the rear bumperettes on my Lapis Blue 996TT a while back; excellent work). He also did a non smoker's kit, painted Lapis to match the factory painted console, spot on match.
