Default Battery tray removal

I was informed of some corrosion on my battery tray, hold down brackets and battery when i was getting mod'ed. I have new parts in from Porsche and i am about to tear it apart and replace.

Question is this: Is there any unusual thing i need to watch for when pulling the battery (besides hooking it up right)? The radio will be dead correct? Anyone done this (sorry if this is a stupid question, but working on this car is not like working on my 85 dodge pu!)

I modified mine when I put in the optima battery. Just make sure you know the radio code to get it going. Don't shut the trunk on 99 - ?? because it is electical and will be a pain to get open.

If you don't have the radio code, get one of those memory retain device that plug into the cig lighter.
