Default C4S rear lens for C2 ?

Dear Friends:

I love the look of the C4S rear. It has the red lens running along the engine compartment lid. Can it be fitted to a C2 ? Is there an aftermarket kit ?

Also has anyone put the OEM sport exhaust tips on his C2 ? any recommendations there.

Thanks

Gregor

i posed this question a while back because I agree with you that the light bar running across the back makes the rear end look wider and more aggressive. There is an aftermarket stick-on piece that someone directed me too but I can't remember what the website was. From what I recall it looked pretty good though.

its part of the C4S engine lid, and therefore will not fit on the narrowbody C2.

there are aftermarket 'stick on' type ones, but its basically an overhyped sticker.

Cargraphic makes one for the C2. It is p.178 in the catalog.

Sorry, forgot to add the cost. Their current price sheet lists the reflector strip at 200 Euros (roughly one arm and one leg).

I actually remember someone commenting on this stickon reflector. From what I remember it was not exacly the same red as the tail lights.

I was interested in this mod until don in cape cod told me he had done this one already and didn't like the results. I believe he had the cargraphics one. The c4s has an indentation in teh hood in which the refelctor sits. teh cargraphics one sticks out a bit. Sorry about the typing, Illinois just rocked Milwaukee in the NCAA tourney.

9964, it was me who posted about the strip about a year ago. I bought one from Carcrafters (an excellent company BTW). It is a well formed piece to fit the complex curve at the bottom of the engine cover. When I got mine I scotched taped it to judge it's appearance before pulling off the adhesive. I decided that it looked fake and the color was not a match for the tail lights under certain light. Here are a couple of pics of it "taped" on..

the best analogy would be the many offerings by dash add on companies. You know, the carbon look alu look or whatever, attached overtop the exisitng dash pieces.

Better option - by a C4S and get the whole back end!
