you're dreaming.....I bought my '03 C4S for what you're quoting.....and it had a bunch of add ons also.....you got absolutely nothing for kits, wheels, etc, unless you run into an emotional buyer who freaks over your car!!!!!

I agree. Options are an absolute killer for resale, you pay a boat load for them and they add nothing.

My guess would be that the dealer would ask in the low $60s for your car but would add an extended warranty. I would suggest asking $59K and see if you get any interest. Of course a lot depends on your area. In my area Porsches just aren't selling very well, but it should pick-up with Spring approaching.

A good first step is to take your car to a couple of Porsche dealers in your area to establish a wholesale price. It would be reasonable to sell your car for at least 110% of the wholesale price.

Good luck.

After you determine your selling price, pm me and I'll see if any of my friends are interested in your car. By the way what is the color of your car and what kind of shape is it in? Has it been in any accidents?

go to www.autotrader.com, punch in your details; do this for a week or so and "voila", you will have a pretty good idea.

I say 3 hours of your time tops. If that can get you $2k, or sell it faster, you are making a killer ROI on your investment.

In terms of options, my c2 99 cab was optioned out at $97,000 on the invoice. I bought it 1 1/2 years ago for $39,000... while yes, it had it's share of issues (to say the least).. but cabs without any options 1 1/2 years ago were selling for high 40s at the time... the dealer didn't care worth a crap about the $27,000+ in options the car had upon original purchase when selling it to me.. he probably just thought they were standard.. (a bonus from buying a car from ignormasis sales associates working at a ford dealership )

if one is looking for a FULLY optioned p-car.. one can really get some good deals on the used market of low priced vehicle auction lots vs buying it new fully loaded from a pcar dealer and/or some dealership that buys p-car auction cars all the time.. they don't pay a premium for the options usually at auctions... so one can really get a killer deal when it comes down to negotiations on purchase price vs from a CPO that WILL charge you up the *** for the options in the used vehicle... just make sure you get an extended warranty before you drive it off the lot trust me on this one.. <g>

i love my full wood, full leather interior.. i don't agree with what anyone says about not having leather or wood, etc..... why not be comfortable while cruising 100 with the top down ..to me all that plastic, vinyl crap is BLAH..
it's nice knowing my car has every single available option for the 99 year.. that way.. that way no regrets on what I COULD have had (except for an engine that lasts more than 1000 miles <g>
