Default Where To Buy Wheels & Tires

I just priced out BBS wheels & Michelin tires from Tire Rack, and from Wheel Enhancement.....W.E. was 500 cheaper......is there service, mounting & balancing quality as good as T.R?

thanks

Yes. I've bought several sets from them and I have not been disappointed.

To answer your questions - better, better, and better. See my reply to your 993 post. Not knocking TR, but WE are Porsche wheel experts.

I have never used Tire Rack for mounting and balancing, but I do admit that their customer service is top notch.

As for Wheel Enhancement, I have used them for my wheels and tires since day one of owning my 996, and I will continue to use them. I couldn't be happier with their service and workmanship.

I've heard good stuff anout Wheel Enhancement...but what condition are the wheels in? I've seen so many with dings and curb rash...do you get blemished wheels ever from WE?

Thx...

I've only purchased one set of new wheels from them, but if you are buying used wheels, I'm sure they will tell you exactly what condition they're in. I'm sure they would never misrepresent themselves.

You can check out my endorsement at the bottom. And no, I was not paid, nor did I receive any benefit from it!

If you buy anything from them over the next week, I will even offer to drive over there and make sure everything looks OK before shipment. It will give me an excuse to check out the Kinesis and Champion wheels.

Wheel Enhancement has a pretty cool website, where you can see the wheels you're thinking about in real applications....I'm not knowlegable about wheels....anyone have experience w/Fikse FM10... here's a link to the page that has 'em, and there's an example w/a Seal Grey Cab....I have a Seal Grey C4S....the wheel is right hand column, second from the top...click on the wheel, and then the link to several cars.....waddya think?

I have always used TR - Never a problem, the best service I have yet to deal with - I am almost scared to go anywhere else.

It's sorta like "you get what you pay for".....I like wheels that have a lot of detail, not like the 5 spoke turbo wheels I've got....but the more detail, the more you HAVE to detail.

I have only used Tirerack so far. They are amazing. Last week I damaged one of my wheels. I called them on Thursday morning, and Friday afternoon the replacement was delivered to my house in NJ (shipping was standard and only cost $13.00!!) How do they do that?
