Default Find out what factory options were installed

Is there any way to run a VIN and find exactly what options have been installed on a 996?

No, but there should be an options sticker in the inside of the hood. Take down the codes and enter them in option decoder under General->Opt. Decoder on the left nav.

Welcome to the forum. How about a brief intro and pictures of your car -- it's tradition here.

Ahh great, thanks for the info.
Well, I paid for my car today, but its on the other coast and i dont get to drive it home to los angeles until March 12th when my work schedule will allow me to make the trek across the US. I could ship it, but I think its going to be fun with a buddy to do the drive in my shiny sorta-new 911.
So hopefully i'll be able to post a picture very soon, look for a Black/Black 99 C2 with aero kit, carbon fiber and only 14,000 miles.
My 3rd Gen RX7 did me proud for 8 years but its time to move on after I blew the motor. hehehe very much looking forward to my first Porsche.

Sweet car! Complete GT3-Mk I Aerokit to boot! Definitely get the clear headlights (or the Litronic headlights) and sidemarkers. Congratulations on the new car!
