Can I see your Aerokit Mk1 pics please?

Rob:
Your car looks good in red but when are you going to paint it black? Clearly the best color for the aero kit. Also five spoke wheels are the way to go. Low weight and easy to clean the wheel and caliper without removing the wheel.
Seriously though, you have to do OneLap this year. It would be great to have a red and black aero car in the competition. And just think of all the action we would see at the “dance” clubs. Alex

Alex,
Did the Club pictures ever turn out?
That Talent scout thing was pretty funny -
I would love to be there - but a family issue has kept me in FL for the past month and i would never get permission t take 2 weeks off from either of my bosses - That and the $ i'm putting into rebuilding the cup car right now - hopefully next year as a fun run.
tell brock i said hi (and all the lap dogs too..)

I've got to agree with you on that Aero Kit + Sport Wheels = IMO....
I gave away a set of Turbo twist for $300...

Sorry I do not have any other pictures with the turbo wheels. They are my track wheels and the 5 spoke are my street wheels. However, I am tracking the car at VIR in Feb. will take some more pictures if you are still interested.

I just find 18" wheels to be undersized and no OEM Porsche wheel looks good to me. 19s, I find,k to be visually perfect on the 996/7. That's just what I prefer. I'm not here to race my car and the Porsche stock wheels aren't light either. I bet all of them are cast, too.
I'd definitely lower mine on a set of 19" BBS LMs or OZ IIIs shod with PS2s. Car in silver. '01. Full GT3 aerokit. I can't stand the revised headlight design on '02 and ups. Not easy to find I tell ya.
Rob, mind if I get a ride sometime? It's been a while since I last got in a 996 and want to get a reminder on why I want one. I saw a car just like yours at the Microsoft Sammamish campus. Maybe you work there?

Sure - we can meet for lunch in feb (when i get back from FL)
Funny thing is my car has a twin in redmond <we both work for bill i guess> but i'm normally in Samm-C or 109
I think you will find my car pretty stiff - (PSS-9's set on 4/5)
gota love the taco wing

Good luck,

Hmm.. I don't like big rear wings. I like the clean look of my stock rear. Is there any front bumper and side skirts that don't require a big rear wing? Or are there any other rear spoilers to choose from? I have a 00 C2 Cab in Artic Silver...

Is there an after market aerokit that is reasonably priced with the good looks that doesn't screw up the aerodynamics? I have a black 2000 C2 and really want to add the aero kit, but just can't hardly justify the cost of the factory kit. at least I can't think of a way to justify it with my other half.
