Laura-
I've checked out the site but it seems that they dont make a chip for the 99' 996 3.4L? Is it the same as the 3.4L for the 00' 996?

The 00' 996 3.4L chip is suppose to add an increase of 27 hp and 67lbs of torque? That number seems unrealistic for a performance chip to meet without exhaust modifications.

REVO flash programming is not yet available for any car that is not E gas/drive by wire /electronic throttle - pre 2000.

We have confidence in REVO's statistics and I wish you had a MY2000+, I would like to offer you a trial program to try it out give me your feedback.

A fellow Rennlister, 996 TT, is having suspension work done today here and I am offering him the trial for New Years weekend and will be awaiting his comments.

Man, I would love to give it a try... too bad there is no dealers in San Antonio/Austin/Houston... Forth Worth is too long of a drive...

Laura,

It sounds like there is interest on this board, but so many people have said that the 996 NA engine is maxed out (unless you SC it) that you are going to have to post some dyno results to get people to buy into this flash programming. It would be nice to see a C2 and a C4, before and after.

There's a dealer in San Luis Obisbo, Ca. near me, so I'm going to give it a try! I've just received the GHL Exhaust & will put in on the car tomorrow along with the Fabspeed cold air kit. Brian at GHL is a really nice person; I'll post my thots when I've got the exhaust system installed. I really don't think I'll be disappointed! Laura, thank you very much for your info!

Here are the dyno results for GIAC chip taken from the EVO website. I have a GIAC chip in my '91 911 and the difference is IMPRESSIVE to say the least.
Now that I have a 996 a GIAC chip and an EVO intake will be the first 2 mods!
