Question How to remove the Factory BOSE subbox?

Hi all

Just a quick question, how would one remove the factory Bose Sub Box ,thats sits atop the rear deck lid??

I think its pretty simple, but one just never knows with P-Cars.

Thanks in Advance

you pull off the bose plastic duct trim and there are 2 big head screws under it. take them out and the box comes out

How much does the Bose box weigh?

In order to make the Bose box work, is there an extra amplifier or something somewhere that also adds weight?

My car doesn't have it and so I'm trying to figure out how much weight I saved by not having it in my car.

Regards

You can replace the Bose speakers with a pair of Focal 5WS w/o too much effort. What kind of amp are you using?
