Default Removing Defroster vents

Does anyone know how to remove the defroster vents on a 996. I have seen some painted in artic silver. I need to get them off to check a rattle that is coming from beneath them.

Thanks in advance

Done it on 2 cars. You remove the plastic trim on the A pillar. Then remove the cover for the solar sensor/alarm light. The covers for the vent just pull out as they are held in with plastic clips.

Not sure if it makes a difference since mine is a CAB, but I had to remove the visors as well.

Yes, you have to remove the visors in order to remove the A pillar trim.
