1)Pelicanparts.com
2)AJ USA in San Diego, California
3) Ralph Boothe Designs--a search of his name here and on 993 board will provide his email and web site. He's a Southern Californian who sells Porsche badges, etc. Heard he is cheaper than others.

hope this helps

Question

OK........I'll try this again.
So this badge is usable on a 996 type steering wheel?

If so.............does anyone know how to install it?

Year 2000 cars had the silver steering wheel crest. The so-called "millineum crest."

Question

My 996s are 01 and 02.........& have traditional gold crest in center of the steering wheel............so, does that come out easily?

Hey am I the only one who considers the effect that would have as a projectile in your face upon an accident as it will detach wereas the stock one being affixed will not? I want one as well but I don't think it's worth doing it unsafely

There was a post a while back with a photo of the airbag when activated. The outside cover splits in two with one side (with the crest) going one way and the remainder of the cover going the other way. Based on this, it doesn't appear that the crest will "shoot" out towards you.
