Just lost a rear tire on my 2001 996 yesterday due to tread wear (8K). I was running SO3's (225/40-18, 285/30-18) and quite liked them, especially in the rain here in Florida. I purchase the tires and wheels (SSR-GT3) from TireRack originally. I was thinking of purchasing SO3 again from TireRack and having them drop shipped to an installer. Does anyone have any recommendations for the Orlando area? Or local purchase and install. Comments?

Paul - The tirerack has a "list" of approved installers by zipcode right on their site (you get the option when you are purchasing and you need to put in where you would like the tires shipped). Its probably best to use their list and have it drop shipped to thier location.

Paul, Head to Discount tires at John Young and Sand lake road. As for the manager or assist. mgr. i think it Tyler? anyway they do a great job form my Fuch's to my Kenesis. Ask for the road force alignment for total perfection.
