Default IPD Plenum - Great Customer Support Experience

In this day and age where customer service is usually best described as "no customer service" and whenever you call a vendor you have to go through a 2+ minute automated phone-tree before you are eventually told you have to leave a message (and thus can't talk to a human), I want to share a positive experience. While cleaning my 996's throttle body, I realized something didn't look right with the seal between the throttle body and the IPD plenum, so I called IPD. I hoped I would get to talk with a real human who could actually help, but definitely had my doubts.

When I called, amazingly, I did not have to go through a long phone-tree and Michael Stockinger with IPD picked up the phone directly. He then spent quite a bit of time helping me diagnose the situation and got the needed parts in transit to me the same day. The parts arrived the next day as promised. Michael was very patient and he educated me about the system on my car before I ordered my parts and did it again when I called a second time after the parts arrived. I can't remember the last time I had such good technical-related customer service experience.

I do not have any business affiliation with IPD but just wanted to give both Michael and IPD credit publically for excellent customer service.

I sure hope so. Nearly $900 for a part that I can get elsewhere for $100...
