A nice early days article on the first UK 3.6 996 Supercharger installation progress.
Other goodies on the project include PSS9. Cargraphic system complete from headers through 200Cell Cats and Silencers.
Also - Porsche Motorsport GT3 upgrade brake kit.
996 supercharger project
This isnt a commercial sales pitch since you can buy all this stuff elsewhere and they arnt advocating 9m services or prices- its just a project tracking article outlining there findings. If it is deemed commerical then apologies for posting it (before the hounds jump)

Crivens,
Thanks very much for posting the link to that well-written early days article - I live in the UK and have a 2002 C4S. It will be really interesting to see how the project pans out.
Time to start saving, perhaps ...
Regards
Deeps

Me again,
482bhp in the end,
Installation was very good.
Mapping it was very hard work, the EVO map isnt great and since they didnt have UK cars to work from. It would have helped if they had unlocked the chip and let us get at it instead of to and fro with changes. In the end, mapping it on the UK side worked wonders (as you would expect).
The charger is good, but it did have problems early down with the throttle/charger relationship either bogging the car or being too harsh. It was hard to map well.
I think in the end the header system came off as it didnt help with the mapping.
advice - keep stock exhausts.
482bhp and it was fantastic - not too much work.
but the customer lived miles away from the garage so the hardest part was the distance whenever 'issues' popped up.
make sure your fitter lives next door and knows what he is doing to get it right,.

Just because I bring this up on all the SC threads, what about the RUF version. I have only seen pictures and read a couple spec sheets from RUF. I don't really want to be the guinea pig for the US market. Will all the specs, I feel like the 80hp bump is way conservative, given all the mods on the engine.
