Default headlamp assembly stuck

Hello,
I followed the instruction and was able to remove the left headlight assembly but the right side won't come out after turning the lever. I could see the headlight assembly gets lifted as I turn the lever but the top portion where the rubber seals meet the fender won't move at all as if they got stuck. Any suggestion? I tried to wiggle back and forth for 5 minutes and finally gave up.

A simular thing happened to me last night. Did you try to wiggle it and jiggle it? Some times that will make it come out.

no i wasnt able to pull it out. I took it to a local dealer and the tech could not take it out either. He said he would have to put the car on the jack and take the front wheel off to access the housing and push it out which would take about 30min labor ($50). Well, there is no reason for me to take the lampout.. I just wanted to try it. All the lights are working fine so I decided not to proceed. If my light bulb goes out, I would have to take the car to the dealer and have them take it out for $50. The tech said this is an easy job and I should be able to do it but like I said, i really dont have a good reason take the assembly out.

The light should slide right out, the bracket that it slides into which could be loose or need adjusting. Has the car had any work on the front end? One more thought, on Litronic cars it is easy to get the wiring harness caught on the light assembly, this might also jam it up.
