I had considered purchasing a C4s. I love the car, and have always loved the shape of the 911's. I do also love the 944 and always have as well. I put at least 20k miles on a car in a year, so getting the C4s to pile miles onto seemed foolish. I ended up keeping my Audi and buying an 86 944 turbo.
I agree completely with sly and cabman. It's not what the car is to everyone else, it's what the car is to YOU. I'll sometimes take a 15 minute break at work just to go for a ride. Every time I get in the car it's like a new car to me. Every day that I have to take the Audi it is like a letdown because I'm not driving the Porsche.
That being said, damn do I love the looks of the 997. When they come out with a C4s version of it I will buy it.
Well I too Love my 04 c2, But i have ordered a 997 S, not to keep up with the Jones.but because thats what i want........................I LOVE the new look.
