Matt,

I'd give you a hand installing your PSE - it's really easy. For a shop to install your shift kit, (and your PSE if you prefer), I'd recommend Fabson Engineering up in Cedarburg. They've got the only Porsche certified mechanic in the area!

Where in Milwaukee are you?

Send me a PM if you like.

Thanks for the info David. I work downtown and I live in New Berlin.

Thanks again,

Matt

No problem Matt. Let me know if you want to save $ on your PSE install. Did you buy it yet? You'll love it! What year is your car? Have you done any track events or autocross with it?

always more than happy to donate garage space, tools and knowledge to help a fellow p-car owner.

on my car i've done fabspeed exhausts, b&m, bilstein pss-9's and my own alignment..... as well as 30k service and some other stuff.

working on these cars, for the most part, is fun.

you bring the beer.

i'm in bayview....

best,
trev

David, I haven't bought the PSE yet. I just traded an '03 M3 for a 40th Anniversary (my first Porsche). Haven't done any track or Auto X.

Trev, I'll definitely take you up on your garage space and expertise when I get the PSE.

Hey Trev,

Will we see you on Friday at Blackhawk? I'll be there with 'Ol Reliable - not the cranky 996.

Matt - did you get your 40th at International or Concours?

David, I got the 40th at International. Service department is great, and it's on my way to work.

Hey Matt,

Did you buy it from Lee? He's a friend. Bill in service is great too. I live just east of 'Tosa. Love to check out your 40th sometime - and you can listen to the PSE on my '03 C2.

Also, if you're free on 8/8, you should come on down to Miller Park for the PCA autocross. They're letting me design the course!

Trev - we'll miss you on Friday. But then again, without you there - the Porsche curse may be held at bay!

Guys, I'm in racine. Can you tell me a bit more about the autocross? How does one register?

Thanks, Bo

Matt and Bo,

Hope you can join the fun on the 8th. It's at the Miller Park lot on the Eastern side. There will also be an SCCA autocross going on at the same time in the adjacent lot, so don't be confused. They'll have about 150 cars, Porsche club should have no more than 40. We'll be on the South lot. Just look for all the P-cars.

It's good to get there around 9-9:30 so you can walk the course. There's no pre-registration necessary, just show up. The PCA Milwaukee website is www.porschepark.org
