Default Headlight Bulb Help

Can you all kindly help me identify which bulbs these are referred to in the manual? I want to replace all 4 myself (both sets, L and R headlights). My preference is to replace them with a white light bulb, and not yellow as shown, but I need to get the wattage correct. For example, I don’t know if I have bi-xenon headlights, so for the high beam bulbs, the watts could be 55W or 65W. Relying on this community’s expertise!

The little one on the left is the parking light (H6W) and the one in the center is your halogen high beam (H11).

You should get the Hella brand because it has the small glass enclosure that will fit through the hole.

Amazon Amazon

The H11 are very common.

I created this psa regarding a xenon conversion. Same likely applies to led.

I am good at car electrical. 996 electrical is sensitive. Not wort effort IMHO.

Thanks for commenting. I'm a new member and owner of a 996 C. I "inherited" the vehicle with some bulb and light issues. I did not mention the interior yet, but it has a flickering problem (door light, map light, frunk light, glove box). Is the logical step to replace bulbs first? I was reading how it could mean alternator is bad. The rear hood light does not work at all.

PS - found
on Youtube. He does plug and play with LED. Part numbers are
Osram bulbs used:
  • 3x Osram LED Interior White Festoon Bulb 41mm SV8.5-8 265 LEDriving SL 6413DWP-01B Dome Light, Front trunk, Engine bay
  • 2x Osram LED White W5W Sidelight Bulbs 6000K 12v 1W (Wedge 501 5W) 2825DWP-02B Doors, Map lights
  • 1x 6438DWP-01B Osram LED Festoon 31mm Interior Bulb Cool White 12v 1W SV8.5-8 LED Glove Compartment
