Default Aerokit & Clear Bra Installed

Just pick the car up today from the local tuner (Gemballa Hong Kong) with the aerokit and 3M Stone Guard installed. Also the correct badge....Link to photographs

did they install the protection over the headlights? My owners manual says not to, but the guy who installed the clearbra says that there is no problem with overheating due to the thin-ness of the product.

Beuatiful car. Where did you get that kit from? Is that black lip an add on to the kit because I've never seen on sold with those kits?

Nice car.... can you really see the 3M film from 2-5 feet away? I'm thinking of having mine done soon.

Thanks,

Looks like the factory GT3 Aerokit. The lower front lip is standard with that package.

You are correct, it came with mine! Actually it was packaged in the same box with the bumper cover....

Soon to buy a 996 with aero kit. How much did the aero kit cost you? I have seen them for anywhere between 4500 and 8k

Well that is an unfair question to ask being that I work at Pelican Parts and have access to many parts and have a good working relationship with many of my vendors....

I actually paid around $2,500-$3,000, can't really remember. Since then prices from Porsche has really gone up. Back in Aug. I noticed a huge price increase.

I'd say a fair price for the package is around 5-6K....

We offer the Aero Kit 1 for around 5 something and the Aero Kit 2 for 6 something..... If you're local and willing to pick-up then I'm sure I can work with you on a package....

Let me know if you have any questions....

Nice!

Do you have any clearance issues with the wheels? Are they actual GT3 or the "GT3-look"?
