Question Do lowering springs settle?

I had H&R springs installed about a month ago. I've been noticing that the rear passenger side is about 1/2" higher than the driver's side rear and that the front passenger side is about 1/4" higher than the other front side. Is this an error in the installation? How could one side be higher than the other? Do I need to have the garage check things again?
Thanks for your help!

When I had my H&R Coilover kit insalled, the mechanic had me sit in the car when doing certain ride-height adjustments. If anything, the passenger side should be a bit lower when no one is sitting in the car, so that when the driver is sitting in his seat, the passenger side is almost even or slightly higher.

The lesser the quality of the spring, the more and sooner it will settle, or lose its torsion.

even the best springs have a 'break in period' - usually about 2-3thousand miles,

at that point, you should get an alignment done again.

the height difference sounds really strange. even given a settling period, the difference you're talking about is EXTREME! i'd have it checked out ASAP. my H&Rs really didn't settle much, and the car was level from the start. even with me in the driver's seat (270 pounds), the car sat level.

How could you measure that while in the car?

It sounds like your shop did a sloppy job on installation. I would take it back or to another shop and have the car corner-balanced and realigned. Springs will settle but fairly evenly and not that much.

I'm taking the car back in this week. I took the rear tire off to get a better look at the spring and it looks like it isn't fully seated. If you look at the car from the rear, the entire passenger side looks high, as if a 500 lb. fat guy was driving.....

Reviving an old post.

Exact same situation I have with my vogtland spring install, taking it back in soon.

Did you find out what it was??
