Does anyone use this for their oil changes? Wondering if the flow rate will be too fast for the funnel.

Before I got my lift, I used this low profile pan from Harley Davidson to do oil changes without having to raise the car. It worked great, even with my lowered ride height.

Sweet Victory- The HD pan is exactly what I have been looking for! Great suggestion- it looks like it’s a in person / dealer item only soon will have to find my local dealer. My local Indy is 250$ an hour no matter what and I have the ability to borrow a friends garage and am leaning on doing the oil changes my self due to the labor cost +
cost of goods. FCP has the send back lifetime program I might lean into and try and get the complete oil change for about 100$ vs 350$. Please don’t get me wrong, my local Indy is awesome but they have upped their service to a flat rate for all labor no matter the complication or simplicity of the service at that time.

I use a similar one from NAPA: Drip / Drain Pan BK 8218038 | Buy Online - NAPA Auto Parts (napaonline.com)

I jack the car up on the drivers side so I can get a tool in there, but once the drain plug is out, i drop the car back down.

It's not what oil pan you use, it's what oil do you use.

I use one that is similar and the flow rate was to fast. Ended up buying a large open pan that I then pour into the self contained pan so I can take it to be recycled.

I try to purchase a lot of liquids in gallon jugs. That way I can just leave them with the recycler.
