Default Which Emblem?

Which emblem should I put on my Aerokit II, which will be installed next week? "GT3", "911", "Carrera" or just leave it blank? What do people in this forum do?

911 or Carrera. Your car is a 2002 C2 not a 2000 or 2004 GT3. Don't be a fake just be real with it.

Hmmm... I had this dilemma too.

I put GT3. Firstly I admit freely that its a Carrera but the GT3 kit means it has GT3 styling? So aesthetically its virtually a GT3.

I am wearing my Nikes this morning, so aesthetically, I'm virtually a pro basketball player !

I'd stay away from the GT3 badge personally...

Let me offer another opinion. The fact that you are putting the GT3 aerokit on the car to begin with means that you like the aesthetic of the GT3. This is not like upgrading the exhaust, shifter or even headlights or the car stereo. Let's face it - it has nothing to do with performance - it's a look. So I think the answer is, do whatever you think looks best.

Who cares what anyone else says?

Let me know what you decide. We stock most Porsche emblems and can produce them in any Porsche color you desire.

Seems like either 911 or Carrera. Anybody got pictures with the 911 badge installed.

fake-badging... there is just no excuse for it IMO. You should have either carrera if its a C2 or carrera4 if its a C4, not even leaving the model designation blank is acceptable IMO, unless its the top version of the model for the stealth look. I had an M3 which I removed the M3 badge of the back, tis was fun

Keep it real:

I agree but have to ask - what does that big whale tail on the back of your car have to do with keeping it real? Seems like an aesthetic flourish suggesting a GT3 to me. Does the car handle better because of it?

Bucket,
Here's a pic from Carlos' web page....

at that speed, he needs all the down force he can get. No way that tail is just for looks. He's one of the few board members who goes triple digits on almost a daily basis...ahhh the highways in Europe....

Wow...

Who's taking the pitcure? Hope it is not the driver! Someone in the back seat?

320Kms is 200 mph, right? So he's going like 184? Love to know what, if any, mods he has going on in there - I thought top speed was 170-ish...

Your car looks very nice. Looks like you went all out with the GT3 MK1 look. You're obviously free to dress up and modify your car as you see fit and you've chose a nice package. I personnally wouldn't put on a GT3 badge since you don't have the real thing. I think that a 911 badge would have looked nice.
