Hello all, today I was driving with my sunroof down because it’s like 97 out, and when I went to close it, I pressed the button saw that once the sunroof had fully closed, the liner on the bottom of the metal plate had came off of its rails. I was in a hurry so I wasn’t able to inspect it too much, but I got these photos. Has anyone else had this happen/does anyone know how to fix it?
Also, does anyone know if it compromises the weather seal and will allow water in? I just drove it on the highway and there is a lot more wind noise there than normal

No, the weather seal is integral around the perimeter of the sunroof cutout of the roof system. The lower panel is just for cosmetics and a little sound isolation as you've noticed. (notice in picture)

Thank you! I will work on this later today once I get home.
The lower panel is not bolted onto the mechanism. It kind of 'locks' into place. It apparently jumped out of the correct position and needs to be repositioned. But follow that procedure in the Pelican link. And, be very gentle with the lower panel. IMHO, the panel gets out of track because of the sagging (gets snagged) of the alcantara head liner.
