Default Winshield Replacement

My windshield on my 2003 C4S just cracked and needs replacement (it's not a chip it's a spiderweb of cracks longer than 5 inches). Does anyone have experience in the Seattle/Bellevue WA area with this and can recommend a good company to do the work. My main concerns are 1) no damage to the car 2) OE or OE quality replacement with built in antenna 3) warrantee work.
Thanks!

Over 10 years ago I noticed a small chip on my windshield. I don't know how it got there, but it didn't get bigger over several months. I took my car to the local Porsche dealer to have it replaced with OEM glass rather than a glass shop which would have replaced the windshield with some kind of aftermarket glass. The service manager at the Porsche dealership told me that they get many cars which have had their windshields replaced with thinner aftermarket glass and later come to them to have their windshields replaced with Porsche glass. I paid the bill and later submitted my claim to my insurance carrier as opposed to bringing the car to a glass shop who would direct bill the insurance company (I have $0 deductible on glass). I got reimbursed in full by the insurance company but they did send me a letter telling me that I should have gone to a glass shop. I read the insurance policy and it states that they will only pay hourly labor costs equal to the previaling rate at glass shops in the area. The hourly labor rate at the Porsche dealership, not surprisingly, is much higher. The policy also states that glass is considered comparable to the original glass notwithstanding the fact that it may have a different logo.

I hope this helps.

Thank you! I have $1000 deductible, so I'm most likely won't be contacting my insurance and just paying this out of pocket.

I recently used Glass America. At first they say "oh, we don't do Porsches" but tell them you were referenced by Vital Energy Motorsports and that their Tech "Francisco" does the high-end cars. He does all their Lambos, Ferrari, etc.... You have to take it to them but they use OEM and the guy is a fanatic for cleanliness. I ended up finding these guys because Safelite was a joke to deal with and left me hanging but these guys are awesome.

They will only do it at their shop.

In doing the research on this, it looks like I need to (should) replace the rubber seal around the windshield when replacing it. Does anyone know if both seals (numbers 2 and 3 in diagram) need to be replaced, or just one of them? And if only one needs replacing, which one is needed?

Talk to the glass company before you order. My glass guy already ordered them with the windshield....
