Anyone know of any aftermarket company that makes this front lip on the aerokit front bumper? I see the oem ones are going for like $600 for a plastic piece.

 

Demonspeed for GT lips, Toth are a couple of good options for non OE. Toth has a .1 for $500 or so.

I found .1 OE lips for under $475. Still robbery, but…

 

U can adjust and drill some holes to make the demonspeed lip to work well.

 

Woah the price has gone up 4x in 2 or 3 years. I bought one from Suncoast on 4/14/21 for $129.90.

I ordered one from demonspeed years ago and ended up giving it to my buddy with a 996.2. I didn't want to drill holes in my bumper. Plus, it looks way different. I want the factory 996.1 GT3 splitter without spending 500 bucks. Not to be cheap, its just stupid for a little piece of plastic. I thought 140 bucks was expensive for it back when I first bought one.

 

It's not even a nice piece, it's just ****ty plastic. This isn't a Porsche tax either this is straight up price gouging us. I thought it was over priced at $130 when I bought it lol, I came from BMWs and figured that $130 WAS the Porsche tax because this is a $70 piece of plastic.

 

I just ordered one now from dns performance in the UK came out to $190 us. Apparently they make a 1 of 1 copy

 

Agreed. I've asked demonspeed to make the 996.1 GT3 splitter for a while now, but its actually Joe Toth that makes them. I don't think they believe its profitable to make them. Maybe it isn't. I'm not a businessman. I just know that there are certainly people interested in them if the price isn't insane. My current one isn't too bad, but it does have some chunks missing. I will probably just try to repair it at some point, but I'm bound to hit it again being fairly low.
