This is a GREAT feature. Thanks Berny and Loren. Is it safe to assume that this decoder will work for most late model Porsche cars?

Cool!
I don't know if the Engine Type is accurate though. I plugged in several VINs and they are not consistent: ie. a 944 S2 is in the 3 litre class, but my 996 3.4L is in the 2 litre class?

For reference how many coupes were made in the 1999 model year ?
Or does the USA have its own sequence of the last 5 digits ?

I enter my TT vin and it indicated I have a Boxster S engine. Maybe that explains my lap times.
........just a bug I guess
