Default High speed front end looseness

Artic silver with metropol blue interior with some delete action. Love these cars after leaving the big American V8 scene. Cant get enough drive time with my baby!! That being said, when i drive to work at 430am on the Houston freeways at 100-110mph i notice the front end feels a little wobbly. Should i start with an alignment then look at suspension if wobble continues? Can any shop do an alignment or is this a job for Warren at Rennsport in good ol' Sealy, TX?

Metropol blue with delete

Big booty looks good!!

Its got 20yr rubber so it could be anything. Look for either a gt3 or european alignment spec if u want a more aggresive alignment.

Also tire pressure can also fix this. Post up what they r.

OP - Welcome and nice car! On 18’s or 19’s? Ride height and rake matter. DeJ is right about the alignment. Check tires at cold 34/39 psi to start. AWD front cover on a .1 is different. Put a 20lb bag of playground sand in frunk. See what changes. Quick and easy is deeper front lip.You can also divert air through wheel wells behind side rads while taping over the bottom air holes on undertray. If you have adjustables, lower the front a click and assess. Stiffen or raise rears a click. Etc.

These cars are front light at speed.

Thanks gents. The front driver is at 29psi and the passenger is at 29.5, with both rears at 29.5. Pump them all to 34? I usually have almost 20lbs of gear in the frunk with the tool kit and AM gym bag.

Could be any or all of what has already beeen mentioned but I noticed that you run a rear wing that wasn't offered by Porsche in combination with your front bumper cover in the shape of that on the 996 turbo (irrespective of the 996.1 headlights in your combo).
Instead the rear wing was offered with the GT3 front bumper cover which decreased front lift compared to stock Carrera (4) 996.1 cover or, the other way around, the turbo front bumper cover on a Carrera 4S or 40th anniversary had the stock automatic rear wing that negates lift less than the one you have fitted.
I.o.w aero balance is off and that certainly becomes noticable at speeds you mention.
Venting the front Rads as @hatchetf15 described will help.

ETA those look like 19", am I right?
29psi would be too low imo, as the standard 225/40R18 is specced to 32 psi (laden to 2 people and over 100mph up to max. Speed) whereas the rear 285/30(?)R18 is at 35psi.
Lower aspect ratio for a given tyre width requires higher pressure to maintain load and speed capability.
As such 29 psi is too low (for maintained speeds >100mph)

Yeah, that seems right. Need more tire pressure on the 19in wheels. Thanks for the input, i'll pressure them up and add a few more pounds in the frunk before the commute this Monday. I realize the aerodynamics might not be congruent, but I'll get an alignment before messing with that stuff. Really like the look of the bumper the previous owner installed. Think he was going for the Gt3 look which i enjoy. Appreciate the comments!!

The steering on a 996 is pretty tight at that speed. Combine that with an empty fuel tank, and an already light front end compared to what you used to drive and you might feel like the front is wobbly. What others have said already (aero, alignment, and tire pressure) are spot on.
