No damage but you will get an airbag code that will not clear on its own. Durametric can clear the code, not sure if cheaper OBD tools can.

as stated above, you'll get the airbag light. Can only be coded out by Durametric, PIWIS, Autotel.
I could reset a .1 airbag light with my icarsoft but not a .2 light.
