Battery drain 996 c2 2000
Hi
I have some battery drain problem.
When I remove the fuse from C7, the current drops from 0.38A to 0.01A. Relay Term XE connected to that fuse is hot all the time plus another relay Actuation Heater that appears to have a connection to it.
Lamp cluster light switch is always on and I tried to remove the contact and it drops a little bit.
When I remove the 2 relay mentioned above, the current also drops to almost 0.02A
Has anyone here in the group had the same problem before?

You just need to keep following the loads that are connected to that relay and figure out what you can do to de-energize them or remove them from the circuit and you'll find the culprit. You are just about there.

Iirr c7 goes to the ignition switch first position wires
Unplug your ign switch, if no difference then unplug the light switch, and see if the amp load goes away/down. Might have a partially shorted/faulty ign switch or light switch.

Thank u 🙏
I removed the plug marked with red arrow in the picture and the current went down to almost 0 A. What's wrong then? Do I have to change the whole lock or just the ignition switch that is marked with the purple arrow?

Well, iirr, ign switch feeds the light switch normally, even when key is out. Try to unplug the light switch with the ign plugged back in....

Well, now that you're isolating the battery drain to something being fed off the ign switch, we now know its not the light switch (a usual source for these type problems). So maybe remove 1 pin at a time from the ign switch load wires to isolate the circuit thats draining your battery. Don't mistake the switches line in power wires for a load wire.
