Its a late production 99'. I know that there were some revisions made to the late production 99's ie the clear lenses on both the head lights as well as on the tail lights. Don't know if it makes any difference as far as what parts are available for my C4. I just wanted to be clear since I really wanted those exhaust tips. wishful thinking I guess.

Bought the twin pipe tips from Champion (OEM Porsche) and they look fabulous, however they were costly ($642/pair). The finish is mirror-like!

The twin pipes rock - especially when connected to PSE!

But your 02+ tips don't work for island boy. He needs 99-01 tips! And.......there is no OEM tip like these for the 99-01, just the oversize ovals (which are quite nice BTW).

Alright that's it. It's not the tips I need to upgrade it the 99' C4 I need to upgrade to a C4S WIDEBODY. he he he :d Just kidding. I'll just go with the big ovals.

What do you guys think about putting a few coats of Rejex on them to keep them looking good? I tried it on my G35's tips but its too early to tell if there will be any long term benefit. On the Rejex brochure there is a section that talks about the product being used in the exhaust of a chopper. I figure that if it can be used on a chopper's exhaust it can be used on a car.

netdoc, what's with the plastic HBL frame? Typical of HBL--cheap.

Not bashing your ride, just think that the plastic frame on the 996 is not exactly a match made in heaven.

As for HBL....personally, can't stand them. About the rudest bunch of people I have ever met. Becasue of their rude attitude we (my family is in McLean) have purchased all of our cars through euromotorcars in Bethesda (5 and counting!) How do rate them (HBL)?
