RUF conversion value
I am looking at a full kompressor conversion done by RUF on a 99 911 When I say complete, I mean everything from bumper, wing, wheels, calipers, seats, airbag, cluster, engine build and supercharger. The build has less than 10k on it but the problem is that I have no clue how much the car is worth. Any 996 RUF guys in here?
When you move to a RUF car, IMHO its totally what the market will bear situation.
There are not enough of them changing hands to really stick a price.
When you price out what they originally charged, add the price of the car they upgraded, then convert to present day dollars.. its a big number..

Is this a "period built" or a "recent build"? How much was the conversion? Got any pics?
It's worth.....what ever the seller wants or it + what ever the buyer will pay for it / 2 = value price

It was a period build that was done by RUF, not a bunch of RUF parts bolted on. Even the engine was rebuilt there supposedly. He has paperwork so obviously alot of the vaue will depend on whst this paperwork shows. However, he stated that it was sent to and built by RUF. Im sure it has a Porsche VIN not a RUF VIN though
.I am interested in this car but even he has no idea of the value. I cant even find 996.1 RUF Kompressor comps to see whst they sold for. I did find 2 996.2 Kompressor cars for sale but those builds were not as extensive. For instance neither had RUF clusters or seats. This guys car was completely taken apart and if RUF made a 996 part, it was put on this car. So its very intriguing and certainly unique.

There are so few RUF cars and they don't get sold often so they are hard to value. Not having a RUF VIN hurts it a bit I would think.
For thought purposes there's a RUF Mk1 996 GT3 for sale in the classifieds for $200k. A regular 996.2 GT3 can be had for $80-$90k. So on that car the RUF premium is about 100%.
