when I originally bled my brakes the fluid was green, maybe it was the abs module falling apart internally? Who knows.
just make sure you buy the same part number, and you should be good.
look at the BOSCH part number on the module itself. not the one on the aluminum block.

The green brake fluid is the new ATE low viscosity brake fluid. Not needed in our cars.

Have search over internet realized only 6 screws to unscrew in order to remove the module. Beforehand I know couple of them are hard to access, but actually they are even not visible and accessible, can anyone advise do I have to remove the whole pump to unscrew the last 2? Have seen some posts they didn't have to or maybe the lhd 996 easier? Thanks

So you just unplugged the connector to the black plastic module, unscrewed the module, screwed in another used one, plugged it in and done? No more light? Im gettting the ABS and PSM light on my 2000 C4 and my indy said its the ABS pump, but maybe just the module?

It it's the ABS return pump code (4460? Can't remember) this happens because a wire inside the module burns out. So a new module with the same Bosch number will fix that. A company called Module Master can fix your module if you want to go that way.

Can someone tell me which is the part number on that sticker? It would seem to me that long number on the bottom is a serial number.

In the picture up above the Bosch PN is "0 265 800 010". The first numbers are probably a date code or serial number.

No date code in the digits in the post above, they are all part of the BOSCH part number.
