+1 on replacing the bearings if it’s possible…because I wish I had tried that.

10 years ago My SAI pump bearings were making a chirping noise as they started ti fail. Not a big deal but a little annoying. Car was under extended warranty so I had the dealer replace it. Now the new pump doesn’t chirp but is SUPER LOUD compared to the old one. It’s like a terrible vacuum cleaner. The old one was nice and quiet. Darn!
