Default Rear Cabriolet clamshell stuck " up "

I recently manually opened my top, I used the tool to raise the clamshell. After module repair I am trying to get everything in order. I used the switch to open the top partially, re attached the cables, and then shut the top all with the switch... I was hoping the clamshell would now close itself but it did not. Could I have damaged it opening the clamshell with the tool? do I need to do something special to get it to close after it was manaully cranked open?

You might have sheared the drive pin that connect the clamshell drive motor to the drive mechanism. Check the end of this thread:
