In need of repair manual for 996 Carrerea
I need to do a lot of work on my Carrera and have been looking for a repair manual with little success. I have seen some for sale online for a very pretty penny but prefer a cheaper alternative. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

I have the Bentley manual and have a different opinion than others. I found it to be elementary and not very useful for maintenance. I frequently find more in-depth information on the forums, YouTube videos, or the PDF of the Porsche manual.
Disclaimer though... I do nearly _everything_ on the car myself. So I'll be investing in the much more expensive Porsche manuals. I wish I could return the Bentley manual.

So I have the "Workshop Manual" for both the 3 and 5 chain variants. The 5-chain is a bunch of pdf files and the 3-chain is a virtual machine running XP that has the application that runs the manual. Kinda sketch but I bought it from emanualsonline.com for like 30 bucks. I've found that the PDF version is great for everything but can be challenging if you're working on a 3C but the manual is for 5C. They just don't add up. However, aside from that, it's helped me throughout all my projects.
