Default How much brake fluid is need to flush system

Hi, I'm planning on flushing my brake system. Was wondering how much new fluid would be needed. Looking at using either ATE Super blue or Motul 600. Seems like either comes in 1/2 or 1 liter.

How much do you need to flush once and is there much difference between the two?

Thanks

In my most humble opinion more "damage" is done replenishing brake fluid than can possibly be done by the miniscule amount of moisture that might find its was into a completely sealed system, a system designed to hold and sustain extremely high hydraulic pressures.

I've always done it with one liter. Not really sure if 1/2 liter will do the trick. I use ATE Gold, same as Blue except for the color. Keeps the dealer from asking too many questions about what I do with the car should a warranty question come up . Haven't tried Motul. No reason to.

wwest, Porsche recommends changing the fluid every 2 years and PCNA bleeds the PDE cars before every event. So much for the sanctity of the closed hydraulic system But seriously, your brakes will feel and perform better with fresh fluid and the pedal will be nice and firm...

At age 64, and having driven maybe 2 or 3 million miles, and having NEVER touched, replenished, flushed, brake fluid on any vehicle except when doing actual repairs, I don't think I'm going to change that particular MO at this stage in life.

And I refuse to take the opportunity of participating in club events when it means someone must mess with my life-saving measures.

No thanks.
