BMW drivers get the most sex, German magazine says

BMW drivers have more sex than owners of any other cars and are much more active than Porsche drivers, a new German car magazine has found.

The German magazine "Men's Car" found in a survey of 2,253 motorists aged 20 to 50 published in its inaugural May issue that male BMW drivers say they have sex on average 2.2 times each week while Porsche drivers have sex 1.4 times per week.

Following BMW drivers were AUdi (2.1), VW (1.9), Ford (1.7) and Mercedes (1.6). Drivers of foreign car makes were also behind BMW with Italian cars (2.0), French (1.9), Japanese (1.8), Sedish (1.6), and Korean (1.5) trailing after.

Among women, French car drivers were top with 2.1 per week folowed by Audi (2.0), Italian (2.0) and BMW (1.9) with Porsche again at the bottom of the scale at 1.2 times per week.

 

If thats the case, buy a Porsche and BMW and your good to go.

 

Ha ha... That's funny...

I think it's because their BMWs are in the shops and they got nothing better to do....than filling out surveys.

I own both as well (02X50 and 94 850CSI) and I have a different perspective. Based on my experience at the dealer, they may now need to offer sexual services as part of customer service. The new 6 series seems to have been designed by the people at "Pimp My Ride", as kind of a head start. And, there may be a significant cadre of 3 series owners who assume the question includes activities "occurring in solitude". AS

 

It only tells you who are the kiss and tell type and who are the cool keep it to your self type.

 

The reason that the bimmer people 'say' they get more action is cause the all the porsche owners in Europe are too busy driving their cars on those awesome roads, they don't need a car magazine or their polls, they are living it...

BTW - All kidding aside, BMWs are just as good of cars as Porsches. One is just sportier and more expensive than the other. Well, the styling IS going way downhill for BMW... very sad.

 

It's because Porsche's cost more typically thus the demographic is for an older crowd including fogies, whereas with bmw's it's not unusual for teens to get them for their first cars.

 

Yeah, it is the most obvious outcome from a survey that I've ever seen.

 

We all know how much teens and young adualts 18-21 lie about getting theirs.

 

The age/wealth differences hypothesis is a good one, as Mercedes owners tend to be older as well, and they aren't getting as much as BMW owners either. Self-report data on frequency of sex is also known to be fairly unreliable. It sometimes comes down to which category of people likes to exaggerate about frequency of sex more. As a social psychologist who sees a lot of similar reports, I'd suggest have fun, but don't take such data seriously. I've also had a BMW and a 911 for years; so when does the sex begin?

 

Best reply so far...have both BMW and Porsche and get it 2.2 + 1.4 = 3.6 times a week.
