2003 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S Coupe 4.0L 6-Speed
Hello, fellow 996 owners! I am attaching a link to my C4S that is up for auction on BAT. It is a difficult decision for me. I love the car! I have a couple of factors that lead to this sale; I currently own a 1995 C2 with a Raby 3.9 engine; it was his wife's car before I purchased it. I also have a recently purchased 1990 C2 Targa for which Jake is considering a 4.1 build. We have been talking about it for a while, but I am unsure if it will get built with recent events. Since picking up the other two cars I haven't had the time for all of them, my loss could be your gain!
The 996 with the Raby 4.0 has just passed the break-in period of about 8000 miles on the build. It is everything I hoped it would be, flat torque through the powerband, a different car at lower revs, and jumps up to 135 mph so fast it is a bit scary. I chose a build focusing on longevity and the attributes mentioned above. Don't hesitate to DM me if you have any questions. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...carrera-4s-110

That is a great looking car and good luck with the sale. Great to see a high quality build with a lot of tasteful mods and upgrades with a high quality seller. Will give the market a good test! I have so many questions.. is that a 997 shift ****? that is so simple but looks great compared to the standard stock ****.

Thank you. I'm not sure what kind of shift **** it is I bought it from a guy on here that was selling brass inserts that fit inside the shifter head gives it a really substantial feeling. It has a numeric ssk which shifts like a rifle bolt pretty sweet going through the gears!

That price is the current bid. Will go much higher before it’s over. I’m guessing the FSI replacement engine adds $20k to the price.
Someone is going to be very happy. I hope they know what they’ve got!

sorry, brain fart and lack of experience with bidding sites. I was fortunate to buy mine directly from the owner.
