I guess that's one way to get prices to slowly drift up -- require legal representation to drive on the roads.

these laws exist everywhere they're just seldom enforced. with stock exhaust that is crazy that someone noticed. I can barely hear my car.

Hyundai in "track mode", the cop is requiring him to have the track mode physically removed, says he's going to lose the car for a long time and it's going to cost him $7k. It's worth watching the first part of this video (from Tom's article). Absolutely ridiculous. That cop is in full "Barney Fife when he gets a bullet" mode -- he is enjoying every minute of his power trip. What kind of idiot wouldn't give him a warning?? The driver didn't know, which I believe, this is the first time I've heard of anything like this (especially for a stock car).
