Hi All, parting out a car and it looks like the IMS bearing has been replaced, but I'm not sure what kit it is. I know it is not LN. Does anybody have a guess?
If the center nut is a 12 pt ARP, then it's likely a very early IMS Retrofit. If that is the case, I'm 100% sure that it's well past its service interval. Basically anything without a date code on the flange is past the service interval.
There is a trade up program for customers with existing Retrofit bearings. Details are at http://www.imsrebates.com.
