Great responses. Thanks guys for all of the info-- 3 or 4 excellent mods to choose from. This thread may have cost me a few thousand dollars.

I agree but if he's going to track the car, he'll be burning through tires like an Atkins reject at the Pringles factory. There will always be a need to get new rubber, but an opportunity to get new springs and dampers might not be as easy to justify.

Did you go to Rennsport?

Skip Barber or Russell Racing school. IMHO, it'll be the best bang for the buck, because you'll be extracting as much performance as that car can give.

Plus, when you do more modifications, and you will, you can put that money into the car wisely, not that modifying the car is a wise decision by any means. It's a slippery slope.
