Hi everyone, I'm Tom fom socal. Picked up an 1999 996.1 c2 mt. It have 171.xxx miles. Currently the car is at my my brothe shop getting maintenance done and having his old 996.1 aftermarket exhaust install. Plans for the car for now is carbon fiber over laid mirrors, complete door panels, center console, climate control panel, av vents and gt3 rs wing.
Well let get to the pictures of my car and my mirrors progress. Again mirrors are not completely done yet.

I've always thought the style of Carbon was pretty cool.

The surface texture reminds me of Freddie Kruger's skin...
Once you see it, it cannot be unseen...

The forged carbon fiber is slick looking. For those not familiar, this is what a finished product looks like:

How did you transition the carbon around the edges of the mirror? Came out nice.

Thanks, here is the front side. As you can see there is still a little part that showed burgundy. Will cover that part with carbon on the next set. Also will be painting the inside black 1st moving forward.
