The gist is sanding down the epoxy, but not too far (don't get into the carbon) then recoat with something like West Marine 105. If you do a search on YouTube there are quite a few videos that go into more detail.
Hi i just picked an 996.1, what parts are you looking for in carbon fiber? I'm in the process of wrapping my stocks parts in real carbon. My whole door panel, center console, ac vents and Is climate control is starting the process right now. Just located all my spare parts for cheap.

Hi, im Tom from socal walnut. Been busy with work and family. I will start my own post and update from there. I'm just doing this for my own 996.1 that I just got. But here is a quick update. 1st pics is just to show a part if a lip that was completely for an acura tlx type s 2022 and the 2nd is just the 1st coat if epoxy. If you having a hard time looking for new carbon replacement then I do offer carbon over laid service if you guys are interested. My brother have performance shop in socal that work on alot of 911. But for now. 2022 TLX type s aero 100% carbon fiber made from mold in house in socal 1999.996.1 c2 oem mirror with forge carbon over laid.
