The nice dinner and the nice ride around the area didn't work. Oh well... The last time I was at LRP was to watch an ALMS race. It was my favorite track when I did DE with my 944 many years ago. It was the only track where I hit the rev limiter in 4th going down the straight. I was too nervous to go to 5th and then manage a 5th to 3rd downshift to get through Big Bend. I can't imagine running that track with a 996. The speeds are insane.
